Wednesday, September 8th, Glenn Merry, the CEO of US Rowing, will be at Community Rowing Inc. to talk about the NGB and host a roundtable discussion on the role of our National Governing Body in developing the sport. CRI and New England Disabled Sports sponsored a learn to row and cycling event at the Harry Parker Boathouse on Sunday, August 15. Paralympians Emma Preuschl (Rowing, Silver Beijing) and Pam Fernandez (Cylcing, Gold Sydney) were here to coach, row, and give unparalleled insight to participants. Just an awesome day!

CRI raked in the hardware last week during the youth competitive team trip to Oak Ridge, TN! The team came home with 18 medals total, and finished 2nd in the overall points trophy, with the girls’ team finishing 2nd among women’s teams, and the boys’ team finishing 4th among men’s teams.
