Cristina is a born and raised CRI rower nearly 10 years ago! She moved to Boston after a few years in Europe where she worked for Arthur Andersen in Marketing and completed her MBA at John F. Welch College of Business, Sacred Heart University, Luxembourg. She fell in love with the sport after only a few weeks of being on the water. Cristina grew into the sport by joining the Comp Women’s team and racing all across the country, including Club Nationals, Masters Nationals and FISA Worlds. After several years of rowing she added coaching into her rowing career. Cristina has been coaching for 3 years - novice youth, adult learn to row, comp novice girls, private sculling, and finally adaptive rowing where she has been focused on since winter 2009, when the program began. She continues to further her coaching education having received her Level 2 US Rowing Certification and attends coaching seminars, meetings, and conferences whenever possible. Cristina continues to row and compete with the comp sculling group.
Cristina has her own business in marketing and business development, which she started six and half years ago and lives in Watertown with her husband, Liam, and is happy to announce that they are parents to be “waiting” to adopt a baby.
