David coxed at Northeastern University, during the 2004, 2005, and 2007 seasons. He was the second varsity coxswain for 2005 and 2007, and coxed the freshman boat in 2004.

He is currently an Assistant to the Men’s program at Northeastern, in addition to his coaching at CRI.
