Kim Becker

Kim Grew up in Egg Harbor Twp, NJ where she attended high school and was a three sport athlete, playing soccer, swimming, and running track. She was recruited by the Marietta College soccer team, but began rowing after she was recruited by the women’s novice coach while erging incorrectly in the college athletic center. While at Marietta, Kim was a four year varsity letter winner for the Pioneers, winning medals at the Dad Vails, Knecht Cup, and Mid-Atlantic DIII Championships, and was team captain her senior year.

She spent a semester abroad in London, England, training with the London Rowing Club and competing throughout Europe, and was selected to two USRowing Development Camps in 2006 and 2007. After sustaining a season ending injury during the middle of her senior season, she took a job at Marietta High School as the Girls Assistant Varsity Coach, working with the junior varsity and novice crews.
