Tom is very excited to coach at CRI. He began rowing in 1999 at Fairmont Boathouse, in Philadelphia where his father rowed with the master’s program. He rowed varsity in high school for four years and took home six junior national championship medals, including one gold in sculling events. He also lettered in football and was named team captain. He attended Northeastern University in the fall of 2004 and capped off his collegiate career in 2008 with a 4th place finish at the IRA, National Championships in the Varsity 8. John Pojednic, head coach of Northeastern, has been the most influential person in his sporting career because he taught him that success in rowing requires commitment to a process. When not at CRI Tom can be found finishing his degree in History and Business and riding a Pedicab up and down the streets of Boston. He enjoys skiing, biking and singing with the Northeastern Choral Society.
