As the link between the CRI Board of Directors, the membership, and the staff, Bruce manages CRI personnel on the daily basis to implement CRI’s positive vision. Bruce is also highly committed to developing long term resources and growth opportunities for rowing in Boston.

With more than 1500 registrations each year, CRI is a beehive of activity every day. Ryan directs all operations at the rowing facility with a staff of 40 coaches. Ryan also coordinates site usage by multiple rowing groups, manages the CRI Safety Program, and directs equipment purchases.

In 2006, Maura joined Community Rowing as Director of Development. Since that time, Maura’s main responsibilities have been to raise funds for CRI’s Boathouse for All Campaign, Annual Fund and Community Outreach programs such as G-ROW Boston. With nearly $15M. raised toward the campaign’s $16 million goal, Maura is currently working with CRI’s Steering Committee to secure the final $1 million needed to closeout the campaign and position the organization to maintain its fiscal sustainability.

Rachele Pojednic joined the staff of CRI as the Director of Outreach in the summer of 2009. As the coordinator of the G-Row, Adaptive Rowing, Veteran’s Rowing and the Boy’s Boston Public School teams, she facilitates the daily logistics of each program while providing support for long term growth and sustainability. Rachele’s goal is to provide the highest level experience to those members of our community that are not traditionally granted access to the water, one of Boston’s greatest resources.

As one of the most successful junior women’s coaches in the country, Ethan is committed to assisting the education of his fellow coaches by putting together a series of seminars, workshops and conferences addressing various areas of basic as well as high performance coaching. Bringing speakers from various programs and areas of expertise, Ethan’s CRI hosted Vespoli Coaching Education Series is the unique and prime coaching education event in the northeast.
BOATHOUSE MANAGER - Erica Cerjanec

As Boathouse Manager, Erica is instrumental in making sure the program registrations run smoothly and that all participants are successfully placed in their courses. Also, with a background in graphic design, Erica is the graphic artist for all of CRI’s print and online publications: designing posters, mailings, promotional information for CRI’s programs, and working with Maura and Leigh to aid Development at CRI.

Leigh keeps CRI in touch with all of our supporters. She manages the donor database, works on business development and managing bookings for CRI successful Community Room Rentals and Corporate Rowing Program. She works closely with Maura to design, write and distribute the CRI Newsletter, Annual Report, Annual Appeal and all email blasts and communications to the CRI and the greater rowing community.

BOATHOUSE RIGGER - Seth Davis

As Rigger, you can think of Seth as the owner of all the equipment and buildings at CRI - he will be supervising the consistent rigging of boats by coaches and volunteers, the maintenance and repair of our shells, and the smooth operation of our physical plant.
BOATHOUSE ENGINEER - Rob Mayo

Rob, our Boathouse Engineer, is responsible for keeping our new boathouse in working order, looking clean, and functioning properly. He keeps all areas of the boathouse looking spotless, is responsible for upkeep of the fitness equipment, and even touches up the paint periodically to keep the walls looking crisp and white! He also performs special projects in cooperation with Seth, helps to set up for special functions held at CRI, and provides technical and HVAC oversight and maintenance.
OPERATIONS ASSISTANT - AJ Rourke
AJ, as an Operations Assistant, helps Ryan and Seth keep the boathouse and boat bays well-maintained and running smoothly. She also ensures that the CRI vehicles are functioning properly, that there is gas for the coaching launches, oversees safety protocol, and helps to manage volunteers to coordinate the completion tasks around the boathouse. In addition to these regular tasks, AJ also does special projects around the boathouse, such as helping Seth re-rig the boats in the bay, as well as checking oars, safety equipment, and doing just about anything else that needs getting done!
OPERATIONS ASSISTANT - Eliza van Lennep

Eliza, also an Operations Assistant, works with Ryan upstairs in the office on tasks pertinent to the general functioning of the facilities at CRI. She helps to monitor volunteer hours, develop programming, update the annual calendar and perform special projects and tasks for Ryan. In addition to these responsibilities, Eliza also serves as the youth travel coordinator: scheduling, booking, and coordinating travel, competition schedules, and training trips for the comp youth programs.
