Community Rowing's temporary Spring 2008 site is located East of Daly Field on Nonantum Road on the Newton/Brighton line.

-Park on the left side (Nonantum Rd side) of the access road single file
-Park in the Daly Rink lot the same as years past

From Boston
Take Storrow Drive West towards Newton. Storrow Drive turns into Soldiers Field Road at the Boston University (BU) Bridge. Continue on Soldiers Field Road towards Newton. After passing the IHOP restaurant (at North Beacon Street intersection), Soldiers Field Road becomes Nonantum Road. Our temporary site is located adjacent to the new boathouse construction before the playing fields.

From Mass Pike (heading East into Boston)
Take Newton exit 17 off the Mass Pike. You will go up the ramp, past the Sheraton Hotel (which is located directly over the Mass Pike). Continue past the hotel until you see a sign for Charlesbank Road. Bear left onto Charlesbank Road and follow this road onto Nonantum Road. Enter onto Nonantum Road going East. You will go past the Newton Yacht Club and then immediately on your left is the MDC Daly Skating Rink. Our temporary site is located adjacent to the new boathouse construction after the playing fields.

Public Transportation
There is no direct T access to Community Rowing. The following Bus Stops are located a short walking distance from our temporary site.

Bus #64 (from Central Square "T" station) - the closest to CRI
Get off the bus at Brooks Street, near Nonantum Road, walk North toward the Charles River, cross Nonantum Road at the lights at Brooks Street and Nonantum Road, and bear left (West) on the bike path; our temporary site is located adjacent to the new boathouse construction before the playing fields.

Buses #501, #57, #64 (Oak Square - Brighton)
From Oak Square, walk East down Faneuil Street to Brooks Street, go left onto Brooks Street and walk down Brooks Street toward the Charles River, cross Nonantum Road at the lights at Brooks Street and Nonantum Road, and bear left (West) on the bike path; our temporary site is located adjacent to the new boathouse construction before the playing fields.

Buses #501, #502, #504, #52, #57, #553, #554, #556, #558 (Newton Corner - Newton)
From Newton Corner, follow Charlesbank Road (off Centre Street or St. James Street) to Nonantum Road (along the Charles River). Turn right onto Nonantum Road (East) and continue walking along the river. You will pass the Newton Yacht Club on your left and the next building is Community Rowing (MDC Daly Skating Rink) and our site is 100 yards before it along the river. Our temporary site is located adjacent to the new boathouse construction after the playing fields.

Buses #52,#59, #70A, #71 (Watertown Square - Watertown)
From Watertown Square, cross the Charles River via the Galen Street Bridge, go left onto Nonantum Road and follow it until you pass the Newton Yacht Club on your left and the next building is Community Rowing (MDC Daly Skating Rink) and our site is 100 yards before it along the river.Our temporary site is located adjacent to the new boathouse construction after the playing fields.
