When did you start rowing? What drew you to the sport?
I started rowing at secondary school in the UK. I was on my school varsity rugby and soccer teams and got sick of being horrendously bullied so decided to try another sport.
Favorite rowing moment?
Being selected for the Lightweight Men's 8+ for the 2013 World Championships in Korea.
Something interesting that no one would know?
I can play the didgeridoo.
How has CRI been impactful in your development?
CRI has been an amazing and helpful place where excellence is welcomed and encouraged. Everyone is welcoming and the love of rowing can be felt from the moment you walk through the doors. Without the support of CRI I would never have been able to realize my dreams of rowing as a lightweight at the 2013 World Championships and for that I am eternally grateful.
My favorite workout is the one I just finished as it means I can go eat some food.
