Adaptive Rowing
Community Rowing provides rowing opportunities for people who have physical disabilities, visual or hearing impairments and developmental disabilities. The equipment required to assist rowers with special needs will be provided. No previous rowing or athletic experience is needed. Group or individual sessions are available. Please call us to discuss how we can best meet your needs.

G-ROW Boston
G-ROW Boston is a special initiative for girls in the Boston Public Schools. Founded in collaboration with Row as One Institute, the program aims to build girls' strength through rowing, and to promote diversity in the sport. G-ROW participants practice 3 to 4 afternoons per week throughout the school year and attend races in the spring and fall. In addition, the program offers one-week summer camps for girls ages 12-18 who are residents of Boston. G-ROW Boston is offered free of charge to eligible participants thanks to the generosity of individual donors and foundations. For more information or to volunteer with the girls, please call Regan Bernhard, Program Director at 617.923.7564 or visit www.growboston.org

Scholarships
Membership and program fees are what keep Community Rowing operating. However, we want to make rowing affordable for anyone who wants to participate. If you find the fees beyond your reach, please make sure to fill out the scholarship application that is part of the registration process. We provide a limited number of partial scholarships each year.
