Adult Rowing/Private Lessons
We want to teach you to row! If you’re new to rowing or just want to improve your technique, a CRI coach will meet with you at your convenience. After work? Over lunch? A corporate get-together? Let us know, and we can accommodate your schedule.
Anyone taking private lessons must be a registered participant of another CRI program or have registered and paid the CRI Facilities Fee of $145. (To sign up for the facilities fee, click here.) Individuals who have not paid the Facilities Fee will be charged $25 in addition to the lesson fee, so for one hour, it would be $125 rather than $100. If you plan on taking four or more lessons, you may want to consider paying the Facilities Fee.
Facilities Fee at CRI: Community Support fees allow us to maintain the boathouse and equipment and to keep the building open to our rowers seven days a week. Community Supporters enjoy access to more than 50 rowing machines, spin cycles, weight room, and locker rooms. The Facilities Fee, once paid, is good for the remainder of the calendar year.
Waiver Forms: Individuals who have not paid the Facilities Fee must sign a waiver.
Fee Forms: Fee forms are available at the front desk.
Payment: We accept exact cash, check, Master Card, and Visa.
Swim Test: Rowers planning to schedule repeated private lessons should have a swim test on file.
The swim test form is available on the forms page of our website.
Scheduling: Scheduling is subject to coach availability. For a current list of coaches who provide private lessons, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
