Since 1998, CRI has offered winter programs to its membership, providing
the opportunity to maintain and improve rowing fitness off the water during
the off-season. CRI's Winter Training programs cover a range of activity:
weight work, erging, and circuit training. Like our on-water programs,
winter registration is first-come, first-serve, open to CRI members in
good standing, and may be subject to special refund/transfer restrictions.
General
Information
For 2007-2008, CRI winter training will once again be held at Watertown
High School (50 Columbia St., Watertown, MA).
All athletes should enter the high school through the triple doors on
the gym side of the building off of Columbia St. Morning classes will
be held in the gymnasium while the afternoon and evening programs will
be held in the cafeteria, adjacent to the gymnasium.
We are dependent on Watertown HS for our use of the facility. Therefore
programs cannot be run on days when the school is not open. This includes
scheduled school closings as well as snow days and events that are held
in the gymnasium.
All athletes
enrolling in a winter training program must have an active 2007 CRI membership.

of $145 per class. Athletes can sign up for as many classes as they choose.

The cost of the 5-day program is $455 and the 3-day program
is $290. The practices will consist of ergometer training, weight training,

during the winter months is essential to success during the spring season.

Friday afternoon from 4:00-6:00PM and Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00PM.
After signing up for the three or five day program the selection of class

and be prepared to discuss your preferred class times with the coaches
at that time. Permanent individual class schedules will be given to the
