Coronavirus COVID-19 Update

Tuesday, September 8.  5pm

CRI is moving to PHASE 3 Opening staring Monday, September 14.  Starting Monday, the 2nd floor, bathrooms and lockers will open with restricted access. Additional access includes: 

  • Permitting 3 people access to each upstairs locker/restroom at a time: 3 in mens' room; 3 in womens' room 

  • Red Cubbies on 1st floor for temporary storage of personal items

  • Open shelving on the 2nd floor along the low wall for public storage of personal items


  • We will begin enhanced cleaning protocols, including daily "fogging" of our high use areas 

  • Community members erging/working out indoors (outside of coach supervision/classes), stretching, warmups are not permitted.

  • Community access to the weight room, kitchen and 1980 room is prohibited

  • No showering is allowed

  • Locker use is intended for daily use only, no overnight storage. Items left overnight may be removed and/or thrown out.

We will remain vigilant and will continue to monitor guidance from the authorities and track state and local rates of infection in order to keep our community safe and healthy.  And, we will update any of our operations and procedures accordingly.

CRI Wakeless Safety Launch

Community Rowing Set out to construct a better and Safer Low Wake Coaching Platform and we believe we did with our SMK 8m.  Community Rowing is a Safety First Organization and we strive to carry that mentality throughout everything we do.  The SMK 8m launch with its lower sheer, tight maneuverability, low wake, and clear deck, helps accomplish that goal.
