Skye Elliot

Competitive Girls Head Coach

From the Nations Capital, Skye began rowing in his youth at Wilson High School in Washington, D.C. In his second full campaign as the CRI Varsity Girl's Head Coach, Skye has brought a wealth of experience and success coaching crews in the summer season.

During the summer of '08 and '09, Skye was a coach for the US Junior National Team Women's Development Camp. Before arriving at CRI, Skye coached winning U17 crews at the US Club Nationals on both the boys and girls sides. During his first summer with the Red, White, and Black, the girls medaled in two of the five events they made the finals in at the 2016 US Club National Championships. The summer culminated with multiple entries making the U19's Women's 8+ final field at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta. Skye's favorite drill is the "ALF" drill - you'll have to ask him about it to find out more! Skye has a boat named after him in the CRI fleet for his years of coaching excellence and the passion his brings for the sport of rowing. When he's not coaching, you can find him on the open roads of New England as he loves to take long weekend drives!
