Leadership + Culture = Success
A Workshop to Maximize Your Impact As A Collegiate Coach
Sustainable competitive advantage is borne from your team's leadership and culture. In this one-day workshop, both leadership and culture will be dissected with the goal of helping coaches build what is needed to maximize your success on and off the water.
Led by Athletics Leadership Consultant Jen Baker this is a one day workshop ONLY for collegiate head and assistant coaches. Jen is a Senior Manager at Under Armour and Founding Director of the Big Red Leadership Institute and former Navy fighter pilot and...(We could keep going on, but trust us she is awesome!)
There was an overwhelming interest for her return after her small group sessions and keynote address at the 'What Works' Summit in February to dive deeper and we were able to get to return for just that!
The day will have a dual focus:
Learning about yourself as a leader (and how that informs your coaching style)
Leveraging your own leadership philosophies to design and implement a leadership development paradigm for your athletes
We'll explore core values, core strengths, the importance of a defined mission, the tenets of team culture, and the traits you most need in your athlete leaders. These will be placed in the context of your goals for your upcoming season and coaches will leave with:
- A better understanding of who they uniquely are
- A roadmap for the development of their team's leadership & culture
